Hi edzi,
We can all get fooled into thinking that those pesky MM's are to blame, or that a phantom seller is keeping the sp down, but both of the aforementioned need a market in which to do so i.e. volume.
Then I had it explained to me..
Carlos and his cohorts have the controlling interest in PDG, effectively acting as a 'Concert Party'. They can buy a share or two, and under AIM rules they will be forced to make a bid for the rest of the company at the highest price paid for a share by any member of the Concert party within the preceding 12 months, meaning that if there was good news in the offing - the Concert Party could easily position themselves favourably by buying a few shares at today's SP, and thereafter bid for the company.
Now join the dots…
Bill Humphries (used to run PGD)
Carlos et al
Richard Pickett
Landore Resources
And a certain enterprise based in Malta who are listed as a major shareholder in PGD
