Dai, When I traded CFDs the margin I had was 10 to 1. EQLS closed + 10.67% higher than I bought it on !st April. 10.67% x 10 !

As I said I dont trade CFDs now, I dont need the stress, ( health problems), but I do look at ways of beating the system, I can't help it! At the close of play 1April I selected 10 companies that were soon reporting.and put them in a VPF with HL, I checked them at 2.50 this afternoon.
Now assuming I had bought them then. Finals on 8th April, PHAR + 9.35%, EQLS + 9. 33% T/S ENT + 2. 75%( but was higher yesterday). The others due to release results soon ,BLV,CNC,ELIX,INS,NFC, SBI, and GMR now due 27h April. Check it out , see how they do. ATB

Sorry ,Dai I did'nt mean the spread was 10 to 1. I only traded on companies with tidht spreads, HL was great in those days, rarely let you down, but BDEV, even though the results were good whoever wrote the RNS always put a damper on it and it would open down, caught me a couple of times.

Prae, read my post on UVEL board, it obviously cant give all the info you need but when I traded I was getting 10 to 1 with my trades with IG, so just imagine you have an overnight position that opens 5% down, there's nothing you can do about it, believe me I've been there 5%x 10 ! so be careful.

I had an investment company convince me they could make me money on CFDs They did'nt, but while they were losing my money I worked out the idea I described, and for three months I doubled my money, while they continued to lose it. The biggest danger is some CEOs dont do good RNSs like Alessando. So you could open 5% down x 10 . But I had a lot more winners than losers. Overconfidence becomes a problem, so this system is not for everyone. ATB
