South Africa Lockdown Regulations8 Jun 2020 11:51
Hi All,
In relation to most of you, I am a recent shareholder and a novice to be honest. I am hopeful that this share comes right and optimistic it will do so. I am currently based in South Africa so have an insight into the current lockdown regulations (which are currently at level 3 country wide).
I have seen posts here which mention that flights from South Africa to Maputo would be very soon but what I would like to point out is that no flight is currently allowed to enter or exit South Africa's borders under this lockdown level. The current indication is that it could be at level 1 (lower level of alertness).
There is potential that it could move to level 1 shortly (anything from a week but most likely earliest 3) but until that occurs, cross border travel by air (for people) is prohibited so any parties wishing to travel to Mozambique would have to do so by another route. In my modest opinion, no one should panic due to no movement on SP but hold until the situation with COVID-19 settles in the region.
I trust and hope a deal will be concluded soon. GLA
