Still being uber cautious though - all we need is the RNS to be 100% sure.

Many thanks, it's fascinating stuff, from previous posters I believe no tug assistance is required all I know is the DPS allows for weathervaning and possibly a ROV may be required to connect the FPSO winch to the buoy ... that's about it. Will pop back on this evening to see progress.

Best summary yet and I'd agree based on information available currently.

One question - I've watched the Pellegrino video re. hook up procedure but have been trying to find something specific to our technical specs. Do you have a link by any chance to a video that would show this or do you know the hook up procedure they will follow? Open question really to anyone who understands these things ...

In a recent Energy Voice article Dr Trice quoted "20 to 22 days" all going well, from hook up to FOIL.

Broadly agree, though please don't report folk like Puffet who has been keeping us updated over on Advfn - and there may be other folk who fall into that category. Benefit of the doubt I think Fidelio was just making a joke at the expense of the less technically astute - albeit in poor taste and with bad judgment as he's talking about news that relates to price sensitive information here.

If it was a genuine post he would have replied by now. He may have genuinely misunderstood the current status of the AM or it may be an incredibly feeble piss take. I'm waiting for an RNS, meantime an educated assessment from someone who works in the industry and is know to these boards can give us a good indication - but that's all - an indication.

Can you tell us what you mean exactly? Are you saying they've successfully completed hook up of the buoy to the AM? If so on what do you base your information?

at N 60.20 odd she's now north of the buoy which sits at N 60.18, 3.87. So no hook up today but makes sense to wait for better conditions now they're out there.
