For me this means being able to take early retirement and spend precious time with my husband, friends and family. It could be potentially life changing. Alternatively, back to a daily commute for five years to make up the difference! I've looked my future straight in the face and I'm happy with my decision.

That is not a considered and well thought through argument. If you are a trader with millions to play with then you can make a nice little profit on a 1p or 2p rise. If you are an ordinary human being with their live savings or pension at stake then NO - just hold. You will lose money by apeing traders. Just hold till the share hits at least £1 then review your postion and perhaps derisk by selling your initial stake at £1 and hold the rest. This is my personal opinion as an ordinary human being with tens of thousands at stake as opposed to millions. Please do your own research and don't take anything you read on here as the truth - look at your own circumstances and be honest with yourself.

Everyone on this board has different priorities and different amounts of money to play with. I am breaking my own rules with this share and actually risking more than I can afford which is a stupid thing to do. However if it goes wrong I can rectify the situation pretty easily and I am prepared to take that 'gamble'. You have to look your own situation long and hard in the face and be very honest with yourself - if you lost everything how would you feel? And place your 'investment' accordingly. I don't think that would be the case here - but that's how you should approach any investment on AIM. Don't put all your eggs in one basket - split it at least 50/50 then you have room to recover.

One more thing before I dissolve, H1 i.e. 30 June 2019 for FOIL - which means let's say on the outside April 1st for hook up. If they don't make hook up tomorrow they may have a snag they need to remedy, the cone was fitted but there may be something else not quite 'right' causing problems or just down to weather or crew or who knows what ..

Anyway - point is - we can all speculate away - or just leave them to it until an RNS hits our inbox before April 1st. Obviously an RNS on April 1st is not ideal - but you get my point. We are wasting our precious time speculating and these guys just need space to get on with their job. See you all once we get the RNS and PPS you'd be an absolute numpty to sell a single share until then - IMHO.

Having invested to my absolute max, I'm now going to walk away and leave the guys to it until an RNS hits my inbox. I cannot begin to imagine how much pressure they are under to get this right. There may be known unknowns and unknown unknowns at play here, could I be more vague? Of course, but that about sums it up in my humble and ill informed opinion.

While I’m in the mood to celebrate with everyone, perhaps restricted manoeuverability isn't the end of the story. Looking at the Bleo Holm a sister FPSO currently in Scottish waters, I believe it’s not until the status changes to ‘At Anchor’ that we know she's made her final status change and becomes a working terminal. That plus the RNS of course. Will check in tomorrow midday - that should tell us something if she’s still there and hasn’t moved.
