I agree with your post and provocation was there on both sides. In my opinion he went too far yesterday and compared the Hurricane Board and Sipp's father to the Nazi party. Some thought this was humorous. I didn't and was fed up with the amount of air time devoted to personal bickering and that was the last straw for me.

Quite profound response, investigation of phenomena is certainly one way to realise that what we call 'I' is merely a designation. Though takes quite a bit of sustained effort and discipline to really exhaust the mind on that one.

Nothing's certain Nigwit and admittedly my response was somewhat flippant but I agree with you. My view is this is currently a trader's share and as you know some folk and not just CA have been doing very nicely shorting this. It is no surprise to me the SP is where it is at the moment. That will change gradually, in my opinion, as the threads pull together over the next two years. Investors are people, yes, it's true, and like people we all have very different approaches and motivations. Each to their own in my view.

As you have said yourself Nigwit, we need data to get II investment on board. Pure common sense and a bit of comparable number crunching puts this at £1 (at least) by the end of this year. Steadily rising to £2 next year and onwards and upwards thereafter or a takeover.

Generally if there is any 'ganging up' it is merited to ask someone to stop banging on incessantly about the same thing ad infinitum because they can't hear what literally everyone says to them literally all the time!

From what I've observed, the so called 'forum' within a 'forum' is just a bunch of folk who get on with each other, are invested in Hurricane and enjoy sharing info, socializing with each other. That's it. Nothing sinister. Examine for yourself, frankly if you or anyone else can be bothered, no one is out to misinform or dupe anyone here.

What we do have here though is a behavioral issue with one poster but that requires a different kind of assessment and one which I am not qualified to make. Though repetitive behaviour pattern, fixation on facts, inability to let go, paranoia, poor social skills etc do point to something to me, which is why provocation and name calling are really inappropriate here and the best course of action is just not to engage until things settle down a bit.

Read Hurricane's annual report. Read Morgan Stanley's article in 2018. Read everything you can get your han hands on (apart from The Motley Fool) and DSPP's share calculations on Lemon Fool. Hurricane are on track to do very, very well indeed. If some made predictions of a SP of £3 by now, likely that was when it looked like it might be possible to have FOIL by November/December 2018. Clearly it will be by H1 and no earlier. If all goes well and the price of oil remains stable at least around $70, this is a very promising investment indeed. Right now, it's just a matter of waiting for data and flow to prove consistency. This is my opinion having been invested since January 2018 and done a little reading since then.

Peace out Nigwit - you may not have used the word idiot, in all honesty I don't have time or the will to plough through all of your posts and spell that out to you, but if you are as objective as you say, you might benefit from that exercise yourself.

What unites most of us here is the goodwill towards a UK company with the guts to do something different. Wish all on this board well and look forward to hearing feedback on some useful questions at the AGM.

I think it's the way you say something considered and on point followed through with the suggestion that everyone else is an absolute idiot for not agreeing with you.

Which is just as bad as folk ignoring the bear case and calling you an idiot for citing it.

I am fully invested in and believe in Hurricane, yet I have been accused of trying to manipulate the market by asking questions about issues that could affect my investment. (The idea that anything posted on here could affect the market is a bit silly really).

On that basis I don't think you are in a position to make judgments about anyone else on here and maybe lighten up a bit? Clearly Nigwit has not made any friends on here. Some of you might have noticed he struggles with social interaction ... Be kind.
