Appreciate you may or may not be able to comment, but from what both Yuyus and SSV have posted - is your assessment these kind of things are par for the course or as Yuyus indicated basic procedure wasn't followed?

Out of genuine interest, on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, how common is it for that sort of error to be made? Is there a vibe here that Spirit management may be feeling the pressure from Centrica to hit targets resulting in short cuts being taken? Just asking ...

It would be nice to have an RNS this week, but to say "it's not good" is in itself misleading, although I imagine unintentionally. H1 - meaning 30 June - is the target. If they get anywhere near that either side, then it's a bonus.

I missed the Milk Tray reference apart from the possibility of them melting rather quickly in your local climate! Though it's touching Wellwell should think of you in that way;}

In fairness to the 'Not Fade Away' part of the song, will relisten when I have a chance to do it justice. Lots going on in last few weeks with various projects so in mission mode at the moment.

'Last ticket to Iona' by Cuckoo - noted for future listening. Musically I can see we both appreciate the Hammond. Not so sure about the Mellotron, weird and wonderful though it certainly is.

Watched Last Breath on BBC iPlayer tonight, appreciate you can't get it (though if you had a VPN - fairly cheap subscription through Norton and others you could watch it). Don't know if you've seen it before, won't say too much as it will spoil it for others. Just that it really helps offshore other industry folk like me appreciate the extraordinarily dangerous environment these guys work in.

I stared at my holding yesterday and just smiled for a few minutes then logged out. I did sell a tiny amount at 57p though as trying to stick to my plan to sell at various preset milestones. Could have waited but it enabled me to diversify a little in NFX, currently about to go global with a new drug technology (bit off topic, but it's a worth researching).

Well he was obliging enough to create a new forum and actually quite enjoyed looking at things from the bear side, learnt a bit. Though don't think I've got the energy to keep that going for long! He seemed happy enough, each to their own I guess.

Second thing I wanted to share, we had a visit from a committed bear to bull investor (he shorts then buys to max his profit and good luck to him, beyond my ken) over on the II board recently.

In my previous post I mentioned 12m plus after hour buys but just for good balance, for all I and we know some of those buys might actually be sells looking to profit from the temporary drop in PoO. Still, even if that is the case, again I personally think we can take heart from the steady hold today. It was only a few weeks ago that 46p was looking welcome!

Few posts I need to reply to on here, but few busy days ahead so will keep it brief.

Firstly, given the markets overall today, everyone on here should be celebrating. SP held its own as PoO dropped rather overdramatically in my opinion.

Secondly, serious volume today, 34m plus, highest I've seen in 2 years anyway. Buys after hours of 12m plus.

Hope folk only top sliced a tiny bit on the 64p because I'm rather hopeful 75p is actually not at all far away.

So if you bought in at 10p here you would now be sitting x 6 of the value. At 40p plus, you're now sitting on a healthy 20% rise. Different strategies for different folk and if you choose to make your money shorting that's your prerogative.
If you're confident in your strategy there's really no need to call those LTHs who understand the potential and the risk involved here and can see this reaching £2 plus in the next 24 months (or a potential buyout). So much data pending that is in all probability only going to move the SP in one direction.

It wasn't actually Roy Kelly it was Kerogen exercising their warrants. Nothing to be concerned about, a tiny percentage of their holding in Hurricane and the first time they've taken any profit out of their investment since the beginning.

If I've understood your post, are you saying that an interesting question for the AGM might be:

"The structure of the VCP and potential for an exit mean that executive directors may have a significant shareholding on vesting of the VCP. The committee anticipates that a special broker sales programme would be implemented to facilitate the payment of taxation in a manner that ensures an orderly market and alignment with shareholders."

... as VCP will vest on a Production Maturity event, specifically "Enhance production through incremental infrastructure" perhaps the question should be “Will that be on delivery (FOIL2) or on FID of the debottlenecking?”

In other words, are you asking if this might be this year or next year and if so how will this effect the SP at said time?

If they engage a specialist broker to manage it as they say, I would imagine it would have little impact.

Is there another point here that I could very easily have missed? Please don't be discouraged by Aduk getting out of bed on the wrong side!
