My takeaway lesson, pay attention to the SP not BBs. The signs were there last week but I chose to put an optimistic spin on it seeing it as MMs getting in at lower prices. Completely wrong so I'll have to ride it out like many others.

For me your post hit the nail on the head. That's the key takeaway - everything positive we hear between then and the conclusion of analyzing performance data is a bonus.

I thought the choice of word ' interruption' was an interesting one.

To me it speaks to a possible offer for assets but the continuation of the Hurricane exploration story. How that will translate to shareholders, I'm still not entirely clear, but the overall takeaway is positive to me.

I recall something about the draught shown was not necessarily showing the latest information publicly, i.e. manual update as opposed to automatic. They wouldn't send a tanker out without good reason.

Do fish get backache? Do they get tired? They probably don't drive trucks and I don't think they'd survive a rock hurtling towards them. So in that sense you seem to be doing OK comparatively!

I have to say I don't even know what a casing expert is, actually my first guess would be something to do with guns not drilling wells - that's how much I don't know! I just replied in kind to Wellwell's enquiry which I intuited, from the typically dour humour, referred to you idespite the inaccurate description.

As to quite where we are on WD, I have faith we'll hear what we need to hear soon enough. My eyes are on CMD at the moment.

Having told us you bought in at 58p try and hold tight till Capital Markets Day on 11 July. We're now entering data gathering phase and who knows what the SP is going to do in the next 12 months while that happens. Possibly within 9 months we could see an offer on the table? Who knows. If you are over extended here I would recommend you review your investment. Can you afford to hang on for 9-12 months or more for value to be realised? If not consider derisking a few thousand at say 65p (hopefully the week before 11 July). Not for me to give advice but I'm feeling a lot better knowing I'm not overextended at this point.

Well I'm not selling again now until £1. Like you derisked a little (having been a 100% in) and at a modest profit. Have reinvested the surplus in NFX for the moment as can see that doing well this year and note there are a few other Hurricane investors over there whose posts had enough credibility to make me check it out.

Now feel at ease to sit back for the next 9 to 12 months and see where the journey goes and at the moment, it looks quite epic! GLA
