Just had a look back on the BB to see what the conversations were like at this time last year and they were very similar, everyone looking for an update as to progress, guessing at progress/revenues or otherwise, but that did not appear till the end of Jan 21, even then the update was understated, considering the results would show that was a circa 150% rise in revenues, interestingly it was just after Xmas last year that fortunes started changing and the SP started to take off, was languishing down at 1.9p in the middle of Dec 20 (wow what a roller coaster year and even with everything we are still over 100% up on that period. Guess what I am trying to say is that it is very difficult to try and second guess what the outcome will be for this year, but if ITX are being very quiet about everything then going on previous years this is not a bad thing and positive momentum could again be just around the corner.

Hi all
Looks very much that there will be no RNS released informing us that production is back at full tilt, guess we have to take it that the disruption to production was minimal and all systems have been restored, if that is the case why even raise it in the first place?, the old adage I guess you are dammed if you do and dammed if you don't, but the lack of news out of ITX would suggest to me that we are having a positive end to the year, remember we carry a large finished goods stock, if I remember correctly it was a bit like this last year (really quiet no news) and then they came out with really good numbers in the Jan 21 Trading update, would not surprise me if we had a similar outcome.

If we look at the RNS on the interruption to production, it states that "Production is currently expected to recommence during December." therefore we have not had any news to say that this is not the case, ITX are excellent at informing us as regards negative news, so based on this would take it that we are back on track, but as you say you would have thought it would have been prudent to do so, Tuesday is always a good day for a RNS (fingers crossed) lots of nice buys going through today.

My gut feeling is that they have completed the repairs and are at in a full Testing/production scenario, but are making sure that there are no further glitches before releasing a RNS early next week?
Guess if there is further news as regards the items below, then tis will only be released once we are back at full capacity.

New hygiene product in production trials
Sustainable Fashion product in production trials
Odour control product in production trials
Super absorbent applications (new interest)
Complete new area going into production trials (under wraps at the moment)
Engaged with at least two companies on biodegradable applications. Did hear him mention biodegradable film at one point
Potential for two new partners in the not to distant future

I know exactly where you are coming from, as they say information is king and ITX need to strive to keep the PI's updated and engaged, I too am a long term holder with a sizeable position here, so as you say, we have a vested interest in the success of ITX.
They say that no news is good news, so let's hope this is the case and that when it drops it is hugely positive.

Is it just me or are you looking for problems that do not exist ? last few messages having a somewhat negative slant, think that things like this can be overthought/misinterpreted by those reading it (both parties) and taking from it what the want and not what is meant, adding 2 & 2 and getting 5.
There are two insurances in play here as far as I can see, one from the contractor and one from ITX as, as the cause of the incident was the contractor and the injured party is ITX then the contractor is liable and will pay handsomely, if there is limited liability then I would guess this is where ITX policy comes into play, remember this is the land of milk and honey and I am sure that the insurance companies will be milked for every possible Dollar.
I think that we are all in agreement that we need something soon from ITX to set the record straight.

Where the ingredients are concerned.
"The RNS goes on to say that (in view of stock unavailability) the Company 'will be working with its key TSI322 detergent polymer customers' in an attempt to convince them to buy an alternative TSI322 detergent polymer grade, which it does have in stock.
The use of the word 'grade' may be relevant here. My question is whether this alternative grade is an inferior one and furthermore, if the customers don't accept this alternative, are there comparable high grade TSI322-type products offered by (larger and more reliable ) competitors? If so, could we permanently lose those customers?"

The earlier version was the initial ingredient that was devised and has been available for some time, and a large amount for customers will have this in their products, having done all the hard yards in R&D on this ingredient and therefore cannot readily change their formula without doing further R&D and rebranding.
The new all singing all dancing improved ingredient has only come on stream this year, see ITX IP and therefore I would guess that fewer manufacturers will have encompassed this into their portfolio of products and in sone cases may still be going through trials.
Sorry not trying to be controversial/confrontational, but trying to give a balanced view point.

Thanks for that, I would think that the split would be around 25% R&D and 75% commercialisation, but that is just my guess.
Since we have a habit of being quick off the mark with a negative RNS and very slow with the positive ones, then would it be possible that they might not even put a RNS out on the completion of the building repairs and the return to full production, advising that all customer requirements had been met and that they are in negotiations with the insurance people on a settlement figure for loss of production and disruption to business etc etc?But put out a operations update in Jan 2022?

Is it worth sending John an email to see if we can expect an update soon?

SP dropping into major top up territory, absolute steal at these prices, but will languish here without some sort of positive update, patience is a virtue as they say.

The hope would be that there would not be any negative impact from the roof issue that would not be more than covered via the insurance policies.
Wonder if they have maybe looked a splitting production capabilities (separate areas) during this period to reduce any impact that a similar event occurring? And they already have at leat half of the production back on line, but will not RNS until full production is able to be confirmed. Things like this happen, but I am sure that our major clients will not want ITX to be in a similar situation going forward. Nothing has changed as regards the fundamentals here, so as you say the next RNS should hopefully go a long way to getting us back on the upward trajectory.

With that kind of logic was does the circa 200,000 share purchase at 8.06 signify.
Do not think you can make a judgement based on one trade, could have sold these for any number of reasons.
Personally I see this as being well oversold and will continue to add at these type of levels.

Was thinking about the insurance claim and what this might encompass

Looking at the RNS Insurance held by the Company, including business interruption cover, together with the insurance of the construction contractor and the building owner are expected to cover the costs and losses incurred.

Not an area in which I have any experience/Knowledge in and I guess it is down to how comprehensive the insurance policy is, but would this also cover.

Potential lost revenues. (November/December are typically large revenue months)

Production costs to restore finished goods inventories to previous levels

Negative effect on SP (drop off due to this incident). was this why the RNS was raised as a line in the sand, to be able to calculate the potential change in market cap?

Not sure if all of these are relevant, but ITX need to ensure that evet last dollar is recovered.

Thoughts on this would be appreciated
