If I remember correctly there is access to supplies of Itaconic Acid now within the USA, as a backup.

Hi

On the back of yesterday's RNS on the supply of product for the first production trial using the Company's plant-based superabsorbent, VELAFRESH® SAP80.

I guess that since this was released yesterday that other manufacturers of similar products will not want to be left behind and be knocking at ITX door looking to also improve on their eco credentials.

Positives being advised on last presentation

There is a large pipeline currently being undertaken on customer projects.

No issues over either raw materials or finished good as we have a good supply of both (finished goods have a minimum 2 year shelf life)

5 new brands of AWD expected in the first half of this year.

Success breeds success and when one brand leads others need to follow so as not to be left behind.

Croda growing range of brands in odour control, fabric, underarm and a new area in pet care, which is proving very lucrative, revenues here are ahead of expectations.

Nouryon increasing revenues in hairstyling and skin care, with new brands and markets, (china/Asia)

New areas
New hygiene product in production trials (awaiting update)
Sustainable Fashion product in production trials (advised)
Odour control product in production trials (awaiting update)
Super absorbent applications (new interest) (advised)

What light through yonder window breaks, is that blue I see on the board today?

Well done to those who have had faith and are sitting on their hands as the tide begins to turn.

This is just the start of all the hard yards coming to fruition.

With oil at circa $90 the cost of the bi-products/ingredients must becoming ever more expensive not only financially, but environmentally and going forward shows no sign of this getting any better, what better time for ITX to be stepping into these markets with a superior more cost effective green alternative.

Is this just the start of a string of positive news events that we have to look forward to, inspired by Finncap?

Looking forward to the end of March, not for the results( as we know these ), but for an insight into what other gems we have to look forward to.

Think we have to remember, that the fundamentals here are much the same as they have always been.
The price will only continue to fall, if holders continue to sell through panic and uncertainty, the trend will reverse
This is the AIM, how many others shares have we seen do the same thing, recover and reach new highs.
As these are being sold off for a pittance, someone will be swooping in and buying them all up and rubbing their hands.
You only make money if you are willing to see the hard time through.

Had a quick look yesterday and John is circa £7.75 mill down from highs, so guess he has a vested interest in turning the SP around.

For me It is a big hold and add more when funds allow, might be wrong, but think there is a very bright future here, time will tell.

Not sure if this is relevant or not, but the RNS of last week on the new area of development ( Dr Yvon Durant, Itaconix's CTO, has created a path to making certain composite materials), as I read it last week the take away that I had was that there would be no revenue from this for at least two years, but on reading this again

"Product research based on this patent filing will now enter the next stage of commercial development."

I guess the two year period is to verify and confirm that we can ring fence this with solid IP, but does not affect us using this ingredient/ingredients in production of whatever products that we are targeting.

So therefore we may see revenues from this area as the commercial development advances a lot sooner?

Any thoughts as regards this?

Bumpy ride at the moment, but have every confidence that ITX will come good.

Sorry am I missing something, Is this not why we invest our hard earned cash in ITX, as we see that it has all the credentials to be a very successful company and therefore achieve an SP which will give us all a very good return.
I think that it is very easy to look backwards and rake over the past six months and point fingers as to why we are back at this lowly SP, the thing we need to do now is to look forward, remember the RNS out this week needs to be taken in isolation, this is a pointer to a new future revenue stream which is totally separate to what has been identified by Finncap as our target revenue for 2022 of $4.7 mill and a SP of around 12p, lets hope that with their expertise/insight, that they are in a better position to call this going forward.
Much more positive RNS's to come in my opinion

I know we sound like a broken record at times as regards buys and sells being wrongly reported, but it is annoying as it sends the wrong signal.
Took another 60K at 3.5p not that long ago and showing as a sell, allowing purchases at the bit price, will continue to add at these levels, unbelievably cheap at these prices, 16 Mil MC, the IP must be worth at least twice as much ?
Patience will be rewarded.

Is this the positive effect of having Finncap on board, I would have said previously that we would not have been privy to this kind of information and may only have stumbled across it in research, so excellent that we are being kept abreast on innovative work being carried out in from what I read of the RNS as a totally new area for ITX . Yes it is in the future, but then does it not demonstrate the huge potential here. Remember we moan and moan that we are kept in the dark about things, so maybe this is the start of a new dawn in information awareness.

The Company is extending the Itaconix technology platform into potential uses in composite materials and has filed a new patent to protect innovative intellectual property for expected applications in this new area.

The extension of the Itaconix technology platform is part of the Company's efforts to engage with potential customers to identify sizable unmet needs that Itaconix can address with plant-based solutions.

If granted, the patent will protect a new family of intellectual property for Itaconix. .

The Company estimates that a $600 million per annum addressable market exists for potential Itaconix products based on this new technology. (Totally new revenue stream to our current addressable markets in which we already have an increasing foothold.)

Would like to think that this is just the first in a line of good new that we can expect going forward .

I think that we have to accept that not all the buys are shown as buys and not all the sells are shown as sells and we have to make our own judgements as to which side of the line they actually lie, point in case, today I know that one of the indicated sells is not a sell and would assume that many of the other indicated as sells fall into the same category.
Hopefully we have bottomed out now and we can see a gradual rise over the next period of time, some positive news or what about a director buy, that would be good eh?

Totally agree that we need some positive news flow to lift us off the doldrums that we are experiencing and I am positive that this will come in the not too distant future, circa 8 weeks till the final results are published and I would guess a presentation to accompany, lets hope that Finncap have an input in what and how this is presented, maybe needs a few tweaks hear and there.
ITX are not the type of company to crow about their advances/achievements, is this symptomatic of a scholarly background and not a business background? Again Finncap should be assisting/advising, there was positive signs in the summing up of the last RNS?
I know it is frustrating, but if you take it that Finncap are quoting 12p by the end of this year, then at these prices I would suggest that is it fill your boots time in my opinion.
I am sure that others will have their thoughts and would be good to hear them.

Think that the whole Covid thing has knocked us out of sink, with the the overstocking of customers during this period causing a spike in our revenue where there would not have been one normally, so instead if a gradual increase in revenue, we got a spike, which totally overinflated the SP and then when the revenues came back to earth so did the SP.
We are now back at a point where ITX need to rebuild confidence in the company, its products/IP and the SP.
As each major client adopts our ingredients, then they become reliant on ITX going forward and I am particularly positive that at the moment we are a lot cheaper than any of the Petrochemical equivalent (non green). Brent $90
To meet the Finncap prediction of revenue for this year I would suggest that we need to be generating around $2 mill in the first 6 months of this year, totally achievable I would suggest, particularly if we start converting R&D into revenue and our ever increasing sticky customers
We are well oversold at the moment, but the tide will turn.

I guess it is easy to interpret a statement in any way you desire, a worst case or best case situation.
Yes they have $700K in cash, but what is sitting in finished goods and what revenues are still outstanding, as you say insurance payment for production disruption etc. so is it played down slightly.

Think that if you look back, the second half of the year has been where we have historically done better revenue wise.

I guess that a lot of this is conjecture on our behalf, I personally still believe that ITX will be very successful.

Remember there are quite a few within ITX who have sizeable holdings, so also have a vested interest in its success.

As they say time will tell, and patience is a virtue.

Is it not the case that the cash in hand is just a snapshot in time, so has to be taken as such, do not think that there will be any need at this point for a further cash injection, again as per finnCap report, but potentially in the longer term 1/2 years away
Definitely sitting on what I have and will be adding at these levels.
These are bargain basement prices.
