There would appear to be a link between Chemtan and Itaconix as regards BIO*AsterixTM as has been highlighted earlier this month, but what is the arrangement?

According to Importgenius the were 3 deliveries of Itaconic acid made to Chemtan 20Tonnes of which were for Chemtan and 60Tonnes were for ITX.

Looking on the map there would appear to be 15/20Km between the two companies, so probably makes sense to have one delivery point, but the raw Itaconic acid would be of no use to Chemtan? It would need to be converted into the BIO*AsterixTM ingredient?

So what is the connection?

Chemtan’s annual Showline of 2023 introduces the GREENTAN® registered product range which is being used for Beam & Tan advancements. Noteworthy is a 50% reduction in sodium chloride, and sodium sulfite through the use of enzymes, and with 75% lower ammonia though alternative deliming. The main tannage can now be heavy metal free.

In the retan phase following our GREENTAN® approach in Beam & Tan we have developed waterproof /water resistant leathers, both light and medium weights for Linings, Gloves, Children’s shoes, and Shoe upper.

Today, we market and sell our products worldwide into 33 plus countries. Our products can be found in all kinds of leather goods, shoes and boots sold by all the major brands. Timberland, Wolverine, Vanity Fair, and even Louis Vuitton.

Many thanks, the ones I have identified yesterday all have ITX ingredients within their formula ( Zinc Polyitaconate / Sodium Polyitaconate) ingredients list available with each product on the web page given.

What I was more interested in was are these either new areas we are moving into re the wrinkle serum and the pet soothing spray and eyelash serum or an expansion of products as regards the pet wipes.

All these new products/areas would tie in with the vast increase in raw materials that we have been taking delivery of over the last 8/10 months.

SP just hovering between 4 & 5 until we get verification of progress being made eh ?

Just a thought, but are they counting the presentation that they did after the £10.5 mill raise as an update?

Are they waiting for Canaccord Genuity Limited, the Company's joint broker, to complete equity research on the Company, similar to finnCap?

I like everyone here would like some sort of update as to progress, but guess that they will need a period of time to initiate their plans and gauge progress, for instance new test equipment does not just suddenly appear, these will have a delivery date (8/10 weeks from placement of order?), guess we will get an update when they are good and ready, if that is July then we are only talking 8/10 weeks away.

I know this is AIM and PI's get anxious, but I believe our research is showing us that we are on the right path.

By the way the 40000 shares @ 4.84p was a buy not a sell.

Looks like we are going from strength to strength.

Cannot be too far away from getting an update from ITX which puts all the pieces of the jigsaw together, showing why there was such confidence given by our backers in the £10.5 million raise.

Could this be a licence agreement? the raw materials need to be converted to these ingredients, are the quantities such that Chemtan has been allowed to set up to produce BIO*AsterixTM Product Line?

Thoughts, I may be well off the mark, but what else could it be?

There are three parts to our pad:
1. Our super-soft topsheet is made of cellulose plant fibres
2. Patent-pending absorbent core and barrier are made from biodegradable polymers and plant fibres.
3. Bottom sheet is made from plant fibres (no more plastic against your skin), and we use a non-toxic, plastic-free adhesive derived from tree sap.

No you are totally correct, never noticed I had missed off a zero on the Tonnes (100 Tonnes or 100,000KG) .

These are now very big quantities we are dealing with, it is not about what the buying price, it is all about the conversion ratio (raw materials in against ingredients out and the revenue generated by these ingredients)

So over the last 10 months we have been involved in the import of 220 Tonnes of raw materials, would be very nice to get some sort of update this week, something big happening?
