Any buy by directors has to be taken as a positive, would have liked John to step in with a larger statement purchase, but then he already has over a million shares, so that kind of speaks for itself, he was maybe just checking that the OTC was still working (lol).

Guess that with the closed period now in place, that we should now expect the TU with second half (full year unaudited) numbers on the 17th/24th of Jan 2024.

Think that many may look back at this price and kick themselves for not buying bucket loads.

Am I correct in thinking that because ITX purchase 100 Metric Tonnes of raw materials in the first half , which has been accounted for in the figures, and have had no further purchase of raw metal in the second half that I can see ( 100 Metric Tonnes is mega) that the cost of sales will reflect this in the full year figures? or am I speaking sh*te lol.

What impact will this have on the second half profit, much greater?

Synopsis of 2023 Half Year results

Safer Ingredients for a Low Carbon Economy

ITX targeting being a very large specialty ingredients company with revenues in excess of $100 million annually and profits to match.

5th consecutive year of record first half revenues $4 million in 2023 with revenues for the rest of this year in line with broker expectations.

Now have a minimum of 150/160 consumer brands and increasing

$20 billion potential market

$2.3 billion addressable market

Blended Gross Profit Margin up 3.2% to 28%

This was due mainly to production ramp up and pricing increases to customers in the late part of 2022

Performance Ingredients – GPM 34%

Formulation Ingredients – GPM 10%

Core areas

Cleaning – 25% GPM

Beauty – 60% GPM

Hygiene – 75% GPM

Targeted increases in Beauty and Hygiene will see our GPM improve even further as these areas have excellent GPM

Let's hope that as we are seeing on products being found that the increase in the higher GPM areas are continuing to improve?

What were you using as the GPM for the armchair calculations as a matter of interest?

My hope is that we are heading North of 35% with the increase in Cosmetic products with a much higher GPM.

Appreciate this is best guesstimate.

Lets hope that we still get a comprehensive TU the 2nd/3rd week in Jan

Would think that the II's will be looking for a clearer picture and a rising SP.

Progress on the superabsorbents and the Bio-Asterix would also be appreciated.
