Sft,
What makes you think the 400k wasn't a buy - priced at mid-point at the time ? The price didn't tick down.
Seems to me someone wanted in with a big amount at a good price and MMs walked it down to fill.
Surely I am not the only optimist left on this board.

...so imho just a bit of selling by disappointed traders or the bored. No immediate catalyst to drive buying so price drifts down. Presenting great opportunity for those with cash. I am fully loaded so will not be buyig more.
Yes, I am disappointd but not disheartened. Deals take time. Deals in African E&P take a bit longer.

My work meant I could not attend after all. Hope someone hears it live and can feedback
I am considering attending if I can rearrange my diary. I am not pre-registered ? Do I need to be ? Sorry for stupid questions but I don't normally attend AGMs.
If I get there I would be happy to have a beer with GP and others, assuming we can identify each other.

How does 1.2M shares strike you Coldspy ? Interest enough to justify me correcting inaccurate information ?

gsa is nothing to do with goldman sachs !
gsa was founded in 2005 by jonathan his****, a former proprietary trader from deutsche bank. his**** was head of the global statistical arbitrage team in deutsche bank and took his team of 15 staff to set up gsa. it was set up as a long/short equity hedge fund.

Josh,
Yes, my apologies I forgot about Maersk Oil. Happy to be corrected on that.
But I don't think TE were allowed to buy the Andarko Algeria assets - I am pretty sure they have stayed with OXY.
Still don't think they'd buy either Chariot for Anchois, or the standalone Anchois asset. But I would not be surprised to see them farmin.

PS: Looks like ENI came back for Neptune.
GP and KB,
IMHO there will be no takeover - certainly not by TotalEnergies. I don't think they have bought an oil company since Elf and FIna more than 20 years ago.
BUT I am firmly convinced you will see your 50p and more within 12 months.
all the best

Sft,
I understand all your concerns and share a few. But what you are asking is a commitmnet that AP can't/won't give.
If he had made such a COMMITMENT after the 18p placing, his hands would have been tied and he would not be able to go for the onshore deal the way he has.
Whether we farm down Anchois or raise funds through a placing our individal interest in Anchois is diluted. Personally i'd rather have a slightly smaller slice of a pie that I can monetise at a significant profit in 1 or 2 years from now than retain my current % stake and wait 5 years.
E&P companies listed on AiM are not for widpws and orphans. You metion PMO and RKH. To that I can add AFR. But I see BLVN is moving up again.

"and at the minute they can only get interest.".
Which is ALL that is due until later in 2024.
So you will ahve lost of trdaing opportunities. I wish you luck with them.
...you have such a big heart. Thank you for your concern for others.
Just watch for the bounce on July 31st when the bond interest is paid. But I guess that is part of your trading strategy anyway.
