Campaigners against new Sizewell nuclear plant lose appeal

Campaigners opposed to the building of a new nuclear power plant near Sizewell in Suffolk have lost the latest stage of a legal battle with the government.

The protest group, called Together Against Sizewell C, objects to a decision, made in 2022 by then business secretary Kwasi Kwarteng, to give the development the go-ahead. The group launched a Court of Appeal challenge after losing a High Court fight earlier this year. But three appeal judges dismissed the group’s appeal today.

Sharehead, take ur own advice, when u said u saw 22p to 40p, u saw the same background noise. Ignore the background noise ? One question, if u believe u can double your money to 40p. Wouldn't u sell everything you have and buy in, and when it reaches 40p. You can buy twice of everything you own. 2 cars, 2 house etc With such conviction and confidence. If ur in shareheads boat, and believe it will go to 40p, anything under 40p is a buy opportunity. If ur in MW boat. Ud want to short to 15p region which MW wouldn't even close their short at 15p as they were seeking lower than 15p. What made then close was likely due to Fed effect. Nofear, it was quite visible with the irrational movement in the price, the short increase was from the 15th December. Today's gain nearly totally wiped out from 5-6% to mere 1.4%. Question is, has MW further increased today?. Watch this space! Those who believed MW reducing was a good sign. Lasted less than 24 hours potentially. Reduced on 14th and increased on the 15th. With no further news expected, how high is MW going to goo??? Imho
