Loving the fact the demand was so high that Ocado couldn't cope with the demand for M&S products today. There was always going to be minor issues and I'm just glad it was surge in demand thats caused them. Very excited for the next set of results ;)
Greatmarquess and that's a supposedly high risk area... nothing to do with all the extra testing we have around this area! Like you say its been very busy, I was at the traf centre the other Sunday and it was heaving too!
I have 2 retail shops and since lockdown we're well up on last year for the same period
You were saying the same a month ago and now we're 20% up...
You're not interested in debate and only appear after a red day which for investors is very irritating. If you were interested in actual debate and the company you wouldn't just post negatively.
Enjoy the Bank Holiday everyone, be back on Tuesday which coincidently is a big day in part of the turnaround for Marks And Spencer

"The dramatic fall in the M&S share price means most brokers believe the stock has been undervalued since January and that there is upside to the current share price. There is currently an average Buy recommendation on the stock." Share price was over 200 in January
@Valueplay someone only needs to read through your previous mks posts to see what kind of poster you are. Unfortunately it's not just after the update you post here, any sign of a dip and you're here, its irritatingly predictable and surely you can see why you rub shareholders up the wrong way.
Its odd that you would only use LSE for research on mks and ocado but research all other retail companies on other non LSE boards... If you were researching your views would be balanced. Anyway enough time wasted on you.
This is a recovery play for me, if it wasnt for the need of change we would have never have been given this opportunity. Share price was 200+ and the fallout clearly not as bad as the 50% drop anticipated with a lot to be excited about
Valueplay you claim you only post here researching all retail companies yet you only post here and ocado...
Points validated? Everyone fully aware clothes sales were failing yet as a whole marks and spencer sales only down 10% on this time last year.
"Never the same again" project moving forward at accelerated pace, reason most of us have invested is for the turn around. Share price near 50% less than this time last year yet sales only 10% down and business changes are putting mks in a stronger financial position. Then not to mention the partnership in Ocado which commences 1st September.
Shame about the 7000 job roles that are being cut but as it states most will be voluntary and new roles will be created.
Recovery play here, and like most shares it will have rises some days and drops the others, genuine holders are just tired of you appearing everytime there is a red day
Sales only 10% down, share price was over 200, 180 fair value....Then Ocado partnership in 2 weeks time, business being streamlined, costs being cut. Marks and Spencer looking better than ever so does that put fair value then above previous levels...Massively undervalued
Unbelievable shout Costa77. Glad to see the "never the same again" program has been accelerated. 7000 roles will be cut but majority will be voluntary and new roles will be created.
Group sales only 10% down, business rapidly being streamlined to reduce costs and Ocado partnership in play in 2 weeks. Looking good!
Love how confident he's been about tomorrow but let's face it he's no clue otherwise it would have to be insider trading.
However Ocado partnership starts 2 weeks tomorrow, this in my opinion is very undervalued even before the deal starts so I'm still expecting a good rise from these levels over next few weeks. Exciting times here and the media will be abuzz
@Valueplay I think the issue people have is the fact you appear on market red days to call people's investments. You have stated you have no intention to invest here and you're not short so if that's true you only come on to put people's investment down, which may I say is a complete waste of time, we've been collecting these in the 90s and you've missed out on 2 weeks of successive rises.
Maybe stop wasting yours and our time and try posting to engage with fellow incmvestors on a company you actually have a financial interest it
