I’m not sure the new President will make a difference to Edenville per se, as hopefully the handover is a done deal and just a matter of time.

Due to the decimation of foreign investments in Africa, and in our case Tanzania I doubt the damage caused will be easily repaired. It wasn’t so many years ago US$40 billions worth of African debt was written off by the World Bank the International Monetary Fund and the African Development Fund.

Africa is a continent sitting on a abundance of wealth, but are third world imo for a reason, and many of us have seen first hand many of those reasons over the years, and more recently with smoothiegate!

There are however issues that will need to be addressed, and in our case the ability to supply the Sumbawanga/Mbeya sub station should the opportunity materialise.

I am still very much of the opinion that there are other possibilities that could be triggered by news of the successful handover and any substantial development re the Trans Interconnector.

I genuinely don’t think everything is as it seems, especially where money and other interested parties are concerned !!
