The Bid is 36.00 so imho mms would have given less than 36.50 rather than more for that value for a sell, BUT that works both ways, as for £54.75k you would have thought they would have had to pay a premium!. ... There is another argument or two, but it’s been a looooong day! and frankly my dear I don’t . .... !!

Hopefully one day we will again have a chat board of interested parties, with genuine views able to discuss the Company, as we used to have. ...

Current plans in the two regions contrast starkly with this potential, however. The report highlights that an estimated 100GW of new coal-fired power generation could be brought online over the next 20 years based on existing power pool master plans.

Exploiting coal to meet rapidly growing electricity demand is likely to expose regional economies to the potential of stranded assets and future write-downs.

IRENA Director-General Francesco La Camera said meeting future energy needs in the region required careful and considered energy planning at a critical time for global development. “To meet the needs of rapidly growing economies, the region requires significant levels of investment in its power generation infrastructure. And it is important that such long-term planning decisions are well-informed and reflective of all potential pathways.”

The region’s new capacity needs are significant. In the East African Power Pool alone, total generation capacity is set to increase from 106GW today to around to 254GW by 2040.

Under current master plans, coal will make up most of the capacity additions, but investors are increasingly cautious about allocating capital to coal. The environmental, financial and social risks associated with the fossil fuel are making the sector less and less attractive.

Thus, despite the availability of domestic fossil energy resources – such as natural gas in Mozambique or coal in Tanzania – governments can look for ways to expand affordable renewable portfolios in their national and regional energy master plans.

The legacy of ten years in the making and nothing prior to MAST over the line. Projects seemingly in mothballs with limited African news flow etc etc.

imho the market is notably circumspect, but hopefully as Projects come to fruition the way that Kibo is perceived will change hence the SP and MCap will follow, OR (just for balance) it will go tits up and we will all lose our money.

I’ve never ever sold a single share since the day I bought into Kibo in 2011/12. I held (as I have posted previously) 125k shares for many years without adding, and they stood in about £8/9k from memory (don’t quote me on that).

Over the last few years I’ve added constantly and now have millions as opposed to thousands, so getting my average down from circa 7p to 0.54 was relatively easy, it just took a bit of time and a shed load of dosh, BUT nothing compared to what I have witnessed first hand by Laguna and cunningfox. I don’t know about Wimbledon, but would guess he is adding.

I’m not in MAST as yet as I don’t like premiums, but am interested and watching closely. I know cunningfox bought a sizeable amount of MAST as he posted it before it showed. Personally I’m an Investor not a trader, and adding to my holds is a natural progression. ...
