Dangote praises 'dramatic' change in Tanzania:

Aliko Dangote, Africa's richest man, has praised Tanzania's President Samia Suluhu Hassan, saying that the business environment in the country had changed "dramatically" under her leadership.

"Things have opened up and I can assure you that wherever I go I will be the champion of Tanzania and will tell people that things have changed and everybody should come and invest here," the Nigerian businessman said.

Market Makers genuinely speaking are company-agnostic

In essence the Market-maker spreads widen during volatile market periods because of the increased risk of loss. They also widen for stocks that have a low trading volume, poor price visibility, or low liquidity. Increased risk can lead to MMs widening their spreads to compensate.

It’s been tedious here (as have been many of the mostly long gone posters) for the past ten years and with only a few ups, BUT currently imho this is a slightly different. We know what the good news should be, we don’t know if there will be additional (outside coal) news just yet. Hopefully no bad news, which will be a result on its own !!

Hopefully we will get all the we expect plus some. I have c. £5k order in place that will only be hit with a good rise. We could do with a re rate and not just a spike, but I’d take anything that drives the SP up currently !!
