Kibo still have (from memory) an unfinanced model. We know coal can be converted to organic gases and liquids, even oil. Vast amounts of cheap energy are required in the manufacture of Steel and Cement and with Coal Fired Projects on the increase AND with the Interconnectior closing LC would imo foolish to disregard it.

Personally in this changing world I think it’s a great move in the right direction, and hopefully at the right time!

I’d guess LC is keeping an eye on the it $455m for the Tanzania-Zambia transmission interconnector. The project aims to allow for regional power trade between the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP) and the nascent Eastern Africa Power Pool (EAPP) and increase power supply to underserved areas in both countries imho

If Edenville sell which seems evermore likely, it needs to be at a price that accounts for ten years of work and monies spent. I personally have no idea what has been spent, but guess the assets far exceed that figure. Unfortunately, unless the SP rises significantly or the price is exceptional I don’t think the last decade can be factored in. …
