Deal or no deal25 Nov 2018 08:48
Two years ago the population voted after a huge turnout for leaving the EU despite a massive establishment "project fear" including Cameron squandering £10m on a propaganda leaflet drop. Despite this historic vote, our politicians have massively let down the British people with their bickering, grandstanding and, frankly, useless negotiating skills.
The EU bureaucrats cannot believe their luck at our capitulation and readiness to hand over 39 billion in return for next to nothing. We must be the laughing stock of the western world.
And now, in complete denial, they change tack and tell us that this awful deal has got to be better than the fire and brimstone associated with "no deal".
Wrong wrong wrong!!. Our gutless politicians must be made to accept "no deal" so that we leave in March with a clean sheet. Nothing will concentrate the minds of the EU bullies more than having to come and plead with us for a deal after exit. The Germans will be "cacking" themselves and will ensure that the rest of the team come to the table.
Having by then already left, our politicians will have no excuse but to sit down and negotiate in OUR interests, with the threat of losing their seats at the next election being a perfect incentive.
