I've got a better idea. Instead of going through all the hassle and expense of setting up a separate trust and managing long term royalty payments to thousands of shareholders, why not just sell the royalty, possibly to JLP. I reckon most LTHs would settle for say £15 million up front. Although this would leave most of us still with a loss, it would draw a line under this whole sorry affair and allow people to move on.
£10 m might have sufficed a few years ago but number of shares in issue has more than doubled since. £15m would give us around 4.5p each share. That's assuming of course that he hasn't since diluted us to hell again.

Regarding the exploration well, do you think it has to be a successful well. Only our record on drilling isn't that great in recent years.

What I don't get is why he wants to steam ahead with what's left of our money, on an acquisition. It's not what he normally does. He comes into failing companies with a view to either a turnaround and sale or a break-up. He's already proved somewhat incapable of making a success of three mining operations in this company yet wants to start another. Why, I wonder? That said the devil is in the detail and who knows he may have actually found a stonker to acquire.
But then again, wasn't that what Kabwe was, and hopefully still is?

Whatever has or hasn't happened, I do feel a tad happier now that AB has put in writing that BMR will hive off the royalties for existing shareholders, albeit with scant detail.
Should it all go titts up in due course and he hasn't been true to his word, it will be something with which he can be held to account.

But in order to progress and make distributable profits, the number of industrial customers needs to rise dramatically as that's where the margin is, although I see we have dropped our rates to $13 per mscuff. Wonder how that will go down with the ones still on $16?
