Certainly hope so. Bought in couple of days ago at around 1.29 having been out for years. Missed the recent low as had no funds but cashed in PFD as gone nowhere for years. Will probably go up now CEO gone, knowing my luck.

Picking up on Eric's point, surely leaving a meeting until the circular is more or less finalised is like shutting the door after the horse has bolted. Having spent months coming up with one, if indeed he has, AB will not want to make any drastic changes at that point.
And why should it be restricted to BMR Watch which doesn't represent all shareholders. Surely he should take a leaf out of Leon's book and do an early webcast presentation with Q&A to gauge what shareholder thoughts/concerns are.

If you are referring to oil revenue, it depends on where you draw the line into the north sea. Scottish people draw a straight line west to east into the sea from Berwick, whereas the English rightly draw the line roughly in line with the Scottish border west to east showing the true amount of oilfields in scottish waters.

Northern Ireland voted comfortably to stay in the EU. They are also strongly in favour of staying in the UK.
In other words, they "want their cake and eat it".
Theresa May's disastrous decision to call an election, in which she lost her majority, left her totally reliant on a rump of NI MPs (thank God Sinn Fein don't vote) so that we now have the tail wagging the dog.
My own view which is the elephant in the room that no-one wants to address, is that as the two parts of Ireland are getting on a lot better now and prefer frictionless trade across their border, we should be talking with them about a united Ireland.
That would solve everyone's problems and keep the EU happy (if that's possible). Now that would be a good cause to spend the £39 billion on.
