All they need to do now is put a bloody great fence round the site to get rid of the bucket and spade brigade before they filch all the remaining metal.

A few years back BMR were talking about spending 2 or 3 million on building a plant yet here we are years later spending many multiples of that on a second hand plant which will need further millions spending on it to update it and include lines for V and PB. Was it as good a deal as they make out I wonder? Admittedly the BMR plant would have been smaller than proposed.

On AIM one might have expected the SP to drop to the placing price but this deal clearly has inbuilt value which will hopefully keep the SP up a bit. I say hopefully, as am tempted to top up but might leave it a few days just to see if can get a bit cheaper. GLA

I think that was a foregone conclusion from the outset. They were always going to spend whatever they needed to to get their hands on a bit more of the royalty, at the same putting one last kick into the BMR LTHs gonads.

Bluebelly on JLP just pointed out a 17 million trade and asking "Are BMR now out". Anyone able to see anything?

Have to say I'm a little nervous about Kabwe and its effect on the SP. We haven't had a peep nor any photos on Kabwe for months and after the BMR debacle last year, who knows what could be coming our way. Maybe someone will also want a Blue Square envelope from us!!
What I do know is that the SP has stayed fairly steady in recent months and although very low, one might expect that this steadiness is in part due to the future Kabwe effect. If however a Kabwe bombshell is about to explode this will devastate the already low SP. WE WAIT.

Had a shock when I saw on my phone this morning of a $300million sell off of platinum. Thankfully relates to the sell off of shares in above group not the price of platinum although you have to wonder why Neilson is offloading so many in one go.

At least the bill will be small if linked to worthwhile work completed

Wow that was a shocker and a real kick in the teeth for LTHs. Some lucky bugger got a real bargain at that price.

Yeah they told us a few years ago that they had set up a sales team in Cameroon to target local industrials.
So either A. They have been disbanded due to being feckin useless or B.The demand isn't there.
I can understand why international businesses such as Coca Cola or Guiness would want a steady supply of clean energy but clearly the indigenous businesses seem happy to rely on dirty fuel and to accept power outages.

Perhaps we should sell up here and invest in Kosovo
