And you can't say the investor is at fault all the time. He/she invests on the basis of research, and factual information from the directors. They don't expect the directors, through either incompetence or some other nefarious reason, to pretty much destroy the value in their investment.

As for you Bring, I think your comments about investors in BMR are cruel and ill judged. Of course they should invest wisely and not put too many eggs in one basket. But by the same token you ought to know better than to rub peoples' noses in it when they are at such a low point.
And who's to say what is and isn't a significant sum of money? I personally have invested around £22k in BMR and whilst I won't go hungry tonight, it is still, to me a significant sum to lose and hurts. Peanuts of course to Mr Borrelli. Others may have lost a lot more. But do they deserve to be talked at by you in such a condescending manner? No of course they don't. You need to take a long hard look at which side of the fence you are standing on Buddy..

Heartily endorse your sentiments. AB lives in a £4m house and has several directorates, each one, I suspect, giving him a minimum of £60k salary plus his own private company which probably has significant assets.
I do not condone violence against anyone to make a point but neither do I give a fig for any hurt feelings Boz may or may not be suffering due to comments from hard done by investors who feel very badly let down by his less than sparkling stint at the helm. It beggars belief that someone so accomplished could sell a Billion pound asset in a fire sale for a few million quid having had over 4 years in charge to make a success of it.

You would think the "new" broom would want to sweep clean by either updating us on various issues, eg Insurance claim, new customers, payment guarantees, Westmed, stuck gun, second power station, royalties, CNG, energy wells to name but a few, if only to dispel any rumours that most of them might be just hot air.

Football clubs sack their manager and very often see a revival soon afterwards. Many companies also see a revival in their fortunes and SP after getting rid of their top man.
We just plod on as usual. No news, no SP uplift. Nothing.

Assuming he hasn't done and is building up a sizeable share liability in lieu, then if the SP value used is anything like it was at suspension, we will be wiped out.
When I spoke to him a while back he insisted the shares are, even at this stage, worth multiples of that price . So I have to assume that he will be true to his word and base his share allotment accordingly, say 10p per share minimum?

Yeah I get that but over and above his £60k annual wages and the shares, you would have thought that making a success of the massive potential at Kabwe would have brought him considerable wealth and, more importantly, kudos within the city.
Yet I assume his reputation as a CEO/Chairman is now in tatters and other companies won't touch him with a barge pole. Having said that EUA did after this balls up occurred so what do I know?.

I get what you're saying but what I don't get is what Borrelli is getting out of this. There has to be something in it for him to effectively wreck the company and pretty much write off his own shares not to mention his reputation, if indeed he had one.

Agree with all that.
The possible danger in suggesting he has been purposefully weak is leaving ones self open to action. Unlikely though as, in proving defamation, Borrelli would also be proving that, as Rosewall alluded to, he is totally incompetent. ie He can't win.

Sorry but what you fail to understand is that most of those "moaners" have spent the last 10 years averaging down and yet still find themselves massively under water.
Assuming they still have funds available to commit to more averaging down, at what point should they throw in the towel and decide enough is enough. Bear in mind of course that the more shares you already hold as a result of averaging down, the more funds you have to commit to make any meaningful difference to your average.
The fact is that many decent and loyal shareholders have been badly let down, possibly even cheated, by a squalid bunch of self serving trough snouts. And right now it doesn't look as if anything has changed since the chief snout departed. RANT OVER!!

I hear there's a shortage of lead in Northern France this week. Let's hope we can get the processing plant up and running asap to meet the demand.
