Looking at the buying of late a decent rns could see big gains next week and from then onwards it will be a SP driven by cost cuts. This could even be writeoffs, the one thing they could do is do away with Lloyd Grossman. We cannot rule out the sale of a brand like Sharwoods.

We must appreciate that when interest rates go up it will help the pension and rest assured they will go up. Just looking at another share Revolution bars, it looks cheap now, but it is fear of what interest rates will do that is keeping it down. So I'm just making the point the whole markets sees inflation on its way and even more with Brexit.

To be honest, that would not be a bad thing, because there is then the ''half chance'' Mc Cormick may return. Naturally, the trading side is worse than last year, so 65p would be generous, however the debt is a bit lower. All in all we could call it ''quits'' at 65p. Now whose guilty of ''wishfull thinking''?

Please can we stick to what this BB is about PREMIER FOODS!!! and how and why over a year after rejecting a takeover approach we are still 50% below that price. Perhaps we can comment on how lucky Mc Cormick are that GD was the CEO and not someone who may have accepted it. Premier Foods has gone downhill in the last year, why?

Hope you are right. But how can we get news of increased turnover, when the policy from now is cost cutting, not growth? What may be required, is restructuring, Lloyd Grossman is a joke, Ambrosia is nothing beyond custard and rice pudding. Perhaps the Loyd Grossman association needs to come to an end? Amrosia needs to be sold off.

looking at the state of the company, can see where they were coming from. We must be fair to GD, we must not underestimate the effect of supermarket wars/ALDI/LIDL. Even I now shop more and more at ALDI, we complain about PF brands, just look how the likes of Muller must be suffering, the best price you can get Muller Yogurts for is 6 for £2 on offer sometimes. ALDI do the same, with some exotic varieties for 29p each.

The problem is they didn't think it was worth paying more than 65p for PF and things have got worse in the last year and could get even worse. On that basis, the best we can hope for is 65p from another bidder. In accepting that (he would as he has more shares now)., he would say the difference between the ''two 65p bids'' is one is unconditional, the Mc Cormick one wasn't.

My My you are a brave soul, suggesting 65p was too low, in a current environment in which GD has shown no reason to suggest it may be 65p anytime soon. Believe it or not, I agree with you!!! that is only because I feel GD could not have rejected the bid without having a plan to get the SP moving and is only surviving because the company know of his plan, but will not release details. However, I feel for those who would have preferred 65p or even 60p last year and had a stock in mind they would have invested in, but are now sitting back seeing that stock rally, whilst PF is stagnant. We must appreciate shareholders are ''investors'' and offers are relative.

If PF are able to make such a bold statement why are Nissin still hanging around? How can such a large company like Nissin allow PF to focus on cost cutting not growth? When you buy a stake in a company, you do so to cut your own costs and benefit from the growth, Nissin is doing neither. Maybe they will sell their stake, would Mc Cormick buy it for 65p?

if there is no plan that the company along with Oasis are aware of, he may go tomorrow, expect the news ''PF chief resign'' Note I didn't mention Nissin, that is because they may be the cause of the problem in that they promised something other than the tie up, but have had second thoughts.
