but Nissin cannot get the company for less than they paid for their stake, if they top upto 29.95% the SP will be more than 60p, if they launch a takeover tomorrow, it will still be more than 60p.

What have his ''friends'' gained? Nissin bought at over 62p so they are down. If they gain we gain, currently we all lose.

can never really say the SP is being driven lower to fill buy orders until we see volume, Difficult to see Oasis reaching there 10% target by June at this rate.

well done to anyone who makes money on PF ''they are better than me''. However, GD is in a job because something is going to happen at some stage to boost the SP, if I thought differently, I would have cut my losses and sold up. At some point PF will become very dangerous to short, you win today, you may win tomorrow, but your time will come to an end.

Buys outnumbered sells, but still not enough volume to suggest the SP is being driven lower to fill buy orders. We know Oasis need to top up before June, but unless we now get some big volume next week, I think nothing apart fom some sort of news will move the SP.

Oasis have a seat on the board because of their promise to top up, so they will top up. Nissin may decide, it is better to buy 29.9% of the whole company, than buying Batchelors. They can still do to Batchelors what they would have if they bought it, by not buying it. Of course any improvement in Batchelors is good for them and if the debts go down they may buy the whole lot.

But if they wait until May when the results come out (which we know are inline or better) they are gambling on the fact there is going to be no good news in the next 4 months. Even if there is no news at all, the SP may be higher than it is now, the morale of the story is, last time to buy 1% ish at these levels.

Because Oasis still need to top up before June and they are the ones with others who are pushing the SP down. Note, just because the SP goes down, it does not mean it will close down!!!

is it just me that thinks 65-70p a couple of years ago was better than 75p today? Bearing in mind Tesco has gone below �1.50 in that time, Royal Mail has gone down a quid, so just imagine you had invested in companies like that with your proceeds. It is not wishful thinking to be looking at either a SP of 90p or a takeover of that amount.

But a takeover price of 65-70p in 2016 was better than one of 75p today, so GD really needs to push for nearer to �1 which I cannot see happening. However, if the SP can rise to 60p and then Nissin decide to increase their stake to 29.9%, instead of buying Batchelors, we may be close to �1 anyway.
