starting to think the same!!! The fact a bid was turned down means nothing, as I have stated on this BB before, Mothercare rejected a �3 per share bid in 2014, today the shares are 16p!!! Yet nobody is really making a noise about it and this is not the only example, there are others like Spire Healthcare rejected a bid only a few months ago and they now trade 50% below the offer.

Best we can hope for is Nissin buy Batchelors and this cuts debt. Perhaps Oasis have ideas with a brand or two, Ambrosia needs chronic investment as does Sharwoods. If the markets like the ideas, we won't need to wait to see the change, the SP could rally.

The shares were �1.80 but you would be holding nearly 3 times as many shares. Even then the SP of 38p is totally unacceptable and we can only hope there is something in the pipeline. What are Oasis getting out of it?

big difference between convents being tested and breached. The SP of any stock need huge headroom between convents, something Conviviality does not have.

Good Post mate!!! I agree 100% with what you say. The reason why it went sub �1 was because of the uncertainty of the recovery. This will come good, but will take time, hence the drop below �1. As a ''rule of thumb'' a share drops on bad news to a low and may then bounce back a little, but always returns to this low and lower, unless there is reason for the company's fortunes to change drastically. With respect to this share we may see banking covenants tested and refinancing/rights issue?
