Today sees my Number 1 target, Pets at Home drop 10%, solid stock will recover, like Tesco did from �1.48 a couple of years ago. But money tied up at the time with PF, same story today. Taltalk fell to 80p, Stagecoach to �1.20, First Group to 80p, the AA to 70p, AO World to �1. Soon BT will be �1.50, yet Premier Foods will be stuck where it is!!!

Were the results good? ''The devil is in the detail'' The idea of cutting costs and increasing non branded can only go so far. The results were mediocre at best. Yet there is no evidence the SP is being driven lower to fill buy orders, that is what we would expect. Unless this becomes the case we cannot get an rns telling us about someone further stakebuilding. We need Oasis to top up and a new player to come on board, like Apollo Management, between them, they can ''oust'' the useless Nissin.

The ''lock in'' period was 3 years, so PF have been able to sell for a year now. bread itself has made a comeback, with sales up as much as 10%, but it is still not a profitable entity. Hovis requires huge investment, the type only the likes of Grumpo Bimbo of Mexico can offer, but they do not seem interested. Eventually, a player like Bright Foods of China may emerge.

We see a decent headline, but when we read the whole story, like usual there is a ''but'' One way the SP could now rise is if Oasis buy any more shares and Nissin respond by doing the same. Spot On. The problem is also we don't know about Nissin's intentions. When they bought 19% of the company, why were they prevented from bidding for the whole lot for 6 months and why have they not even bought another 1%? Does the market feel this is a blocking stake? will they buy Batchelors and then sell there stake? if the markets feel they would then you can see why the SP is still subduded.

why has the SP not rallied? can only be because big players are not topping up. If they topped up it would be seen as they feel the company has turned the corner. The sales growth is now more than the figure which saw the SP go from 55p in June 2013 to �1.85 in Oct 2013.

Really was a silly idea, perhaps they should have tried to make a ''custard style'' ice cream instead or even a Yogurt. As for Paul Holywood, dare I say any more?

I'm as P***** off as anyone on this BB, but we need to stop comparing this to companies that have failed. The only hedge fund that relates to this stock is Oasis. They hold 9% of the shares, why were they allowed a seat on the board on the understanding they hold no more than 15% of the shares? what did the board know about the potential of the company that may have compelled Oasis to want to buy more than 15% of the company?

Rights Issue out of the question and no evidence it is required. If PF were anywhere near breaching covenants, the Sp would be closer to 20p.if anything, we cannot rule out further refinancing. If refinancing is carried out following the sale of Batchelors, then we are looking at something completely different. We will hear of cost cuts and of course, Hovis developments.

The SP is being pulled lower because new players may be coming on board, we await an RNS. There will not be a cash call, if PF sells Batchellors the proceeds will reduce the debt, If they hold onto it, it will be seen as a strength.

Think you hit the nail on the head!!! GD would have been gone ages ago, if the large shareholders were not in on what is going on behind the scenes. Quite simply, if Nissin buy Batchelors and the proceeds are used to pay down debt, yes sales will be reduced, but so will costs and of course less interest will be paid on the debt. Would this leave us with an undervalued company? Maybe the large shareholders think it would?

WTF is going on with this share, buys outnumber sells yet the SP does not move any ideas? This BB is for private investors, are there only a few private investors holding PF shares? apart from me, oldtimer, bistolover and a few more, nobody else seems to comment, any reason why?

That would mean Nissin would have to respond. It must be appreciated, Oasis are a hedge fund as well as an activist investor.

just sums up PF. It will come good, but only after you sell your shares, so the only way to succeed is to hold on to your shares for another decade or so!!! You will not believe it, but I am still of the belief that this could do what it did from Nov 20111 to April 2012, that is it became a ''six bagger'' for those who bought at 3p.
