RE: IOCG strategy?22 Oct 2020 11:33
Rich,
This is an extract from a previous RNS on 24th Aug
"Program 1 - up to 25 holes - 3750m RC Drilling at Baggy Green, Baggy Green North, Laker and Clarke". Commencement date "23rd September 2020"
"Program 2 - approximately 150 auger Geochem samples at Larwood" Commencement date "November 2020"
"Program 3 - up to 20 holes - 3000m RC Drilling at Barns and Larwood" Commencement date "December 2020"
"The strategic aim of these programs is to progress resource development of the Wudinna Project towards the Boards initial target of a 1m oz resource, with specific objectives including:
• Confirm orientation and extend the mineralisation at Baggy Green and Barns
• Define orientation and continuity of mineralisation at Clarke / Laker
• Make new gold discoveries at Larwood and Baggy Green North"
I think this answers your question. The aim is to extend in order to meet the 1m Oz resource but of course some of the IOCG prospects are located in these areas so I'm not sure whether the drilling will test the presence of IOCG. I think we can all say that Craig is quite conservative in his very nature so if I would guess that the IOCG's would come after the resource base has been significantly enhanced but definitely worth a question during the next Q&A session.
