Lucky - all I know is it was resolution 134 passed on May 16th. Web site is Mongolian Gov so not acessable but Web address Http://Zavagno.mn/en/ for the main menu in English. I trust the source so let’s wait and see - the visas will be I would think a few more days as this was approval for Minister of General Agency for labour and social services to grant them to be clear - not issue as such .
Guys Understand we may have good news in the next day or so. Gov of Mongolia web site states for blocks IV and V - permission by Cabinet has been given to grant 82 visas. Not shown as PM but as CapCorp subsidiary of PM. “To execute oil exploration at "Bogd-IV" in Bayankhongor province and at "Ongi-V" in Uvurkhangai province” Let’s wait and see ! But I think this is what we needed. Maybe a double header with rig contract for block XX. Weather colder today! 15deg but 26deg due on Thursday. GLA - safe sailing Paul!
Agreed but percentage of free shares has not changed much and Management both technical and commercial are to me a lot stronger . That said time will tell - I stress £2 plus was based on nothing just sentiment!
Guys - back in the day this sat at between 45p and £1.80 when drilling was ongoing but no oil. I know as I cleared £1 exactly per share. Will this happen again maybe not but I can’t see anything less than 65p breached during drilling. The big jump I think will be when Wild Horse is spudded - then to me £1 plus is possible . No not a ramp just based on history, price of oil and straight economics! GLA - safe sailing Paul. 21deg now 26deg on Sunday!
Have to admit the Chinese are notorious for playing many games at the same time. But I think their maybe a simpler answer - most visas can not be applied for until they are needed. You can not apply six months in advance for most visas. UK give you s three month window ie apply and then travel within three months. As the mob date was a variable it could be a simple case of tell us the mob date and then we can apply for the visa. Remembering as we all know the Mongolian Gov want this to happen so to me a delay could be a simple case horse and cart - need mob date to get visa! All IMO agreed but I think we may be looking for problems when it is simply a process issue. Great weather with 26deg forecast for Friday Good luck to all ! I think we are nearly there!
Tony - I understand your fears - I think though knowing the contracts these guys are operating with Sinopec gave a major issue - which I think will cost them dearly! I suspect every days drlay has s premium attached to it ! So I am actually not too worried about the delay as I suspect PM has recovered some of its costs as a result! So agree a pain but to me also money in the bank ! AIMO!
Captain - I will give you one thing you are consistent. For that I admire you. However I think for once your reticence to admit things have changed will be proved wrong and very soon. You keep harping on about PM have to announce the permits if they have been issued. The way I read the rules none of us are "significant shareholders" - I agree in theory rule 11 seems to cover permits/land use and the like. However if the permits have been approved verbally or on emails and not issued formally I don't see they have to issue the information. Historically as an example drilling information is issued 2 or 3 days after the event. I would suggest a permit that carries a date of 30/04/18 may well not be issued until 3/05/18. Just IMO. ATB to everyone. A good period ahead I think. UB 23deg today so looking good for a mobilisation. ATB to all.
Morning guys - To me the permits are not the issue. The concern is the new rig. To me if I was going to give an update ideally I would like that done and dusted, I suspect that is the hold-up not the permits/land-use. Agree with Blad. Thats said IMO. UB is 19deg today and looking good for the next 9 days.
