RE: Realistic buyout Price10 Feb 2022 20:25
I can't see any of the major holders selling out, think about the time line - less than 12 months ago both Sofina and Softbank were either buying new stakes or adding to existing.
Going through the various RNS press releases since listing its all fairly positive and consistent with their IPO objectives, indeed they have beaten IPO forecasts, so why sell out now just because the share price is down, doesn't make sense to be influenced by Mr Market - Benjamin Graham had a good summary of the daily swings in one of his legendary books.
The brokers at IPO time were keen to get this away, fees, fees and more fees - lets go for a Standard listing which is way quicker rather than a full Premium listing, this imo is where the problem is, no point in listing on an exchange if you restrict the buyers to specialist funds.
This decision sits with the advisors, were the limitations explained fully at the point of sale ?
Hopefully we get to hear of developments on this soon along with a new Chair, this imo is more important than outside approaches for LTH's.
..my cents worth
