Find a company where you are not at odds with management or their strategy, it will make holding it far easier imo.

NASDAQ short interest published today showing a fair reduction, this correlates to another biotech which I follow which had a similar rise/fall pattern, BeiGene also but to a lesser extent.

If you hold for ten years and are happy with the companies progress but subsequently sell out because the share price dips, surely that's an irrational decision?

To quote Jeff Bezos; "The Stock is not the Company and the Company is not the Stock"

Yup, Citadel popped up yesterday, could be they have added to an existing position taking them over 0.5% threshold.

Main focus has been the results but worth pointing out some flattening of the curve on whey prices last week, with no increase. The Northern hemisphere is now firmly in springtime so we should start to see more supply coming onto the market over coming weeks, less protein is consumed in the summer months which may help also.

Only downside of course is a delay moving onto a Premium listing, that said he does have a large personal holding which can block bids along with other holders.

The board have played an absolute blinder imo, firstly they delivered a solid set of results but more importantly a robust outlook while maintaining growth forecasts.

Share price understandably responded well, the best part is however is the absence of any real detail on strategy leaving the market guessing...a bears worst nightmare lol

Standard article spot on, so does Amazons recent announcement of 1bliion into infrastructure/logistics companies.

However folks have failed to notice the proposed wpp venture is a poor imitation lacking full control over the fulfilment process, instead relying on third parties which defeats the whole objective.

Hedge funds are always getting caught out on trades with many using so called quantum Ai in their methodology, or following a blind trend - Qube are one such company which saw them on the wrong end of the Homeserve bid on Friday, that's a huge loss for a leveraged company.

Leverage gets these hedge funds into all sorts of situations which they have little or no control over.

Its possible they can't due to sell volume, there needs to be more genuine sellers than buyers, not surer that's the case with HCM as we have seen with NASDAQ stats?

BeiGene, Ltd. (BGNE) is the only other biotech company I really follow, it seems to be down a similar amount to HCM, what other companies are you comparing to as a reference?

Shorting carries huge risk as you are effectively borrowing someone else's shares which have to be repaid at some point, anyone can batter an illiquid share down but closing without moving the price is altogether a different ball game.

AGM this week which may yield a bit more insight as to current status on EU/USA.

Market makers will no doubt try the 'everyone is selling, run for lifeboats' routine before blossoming like a spring rose !(even I laughed at that while writing it, bol)
