It needs long term investors who are happy to throw a few mill in the pot and wait for a big hit
I was hoping for a decent uplift today. doesn't look like its gonna happen. thats sad but theres always another day. hopes and dreams shattered in a few short moments. i welcome a glimpse of the sun and rainbows through dark skies. eating chicken for comfort food and contemplating things. . there is hot chocolate i suppose. i look forward to 4 something pm. maybe i will forget.
Seriously, if i had 10g to invest, well for a start i gotta wait til Monday. who knows what price it'll be then, youll have to see what you can get on the day. i wouldn't blow all my cash in one swoop though. reality is the price might fall. it might also rise. so what would i do? id invest some of my 10g on Monday, depending on the price being offered, then watch what happens. your gonna wish you'd invested your 10g at 99pence now....
Obviously you would wait a few weeks because £1500 for a sofa is ridiculous. trouble is a few weeks might be a few months and by the time its looking for a £750 sale they might only have seconds or customer returns for sale. the whole point of buying a fancy new sofa is because its new, flashy, smart, trendy and you buy on the moment to fulfil a luxury and extravagant need. you could possibly compare the situation to that of buying shares, in a very basic sense but looking at it from that angle you run the risk of supplies running dry and having no sofa.....
PL if you upped their dose thats surely ending the cohort program as planned. your getting into the realms of actual treatment which would be a separate thing (in my opinion). not saying thats not happening. we don't know all the details but i get a sense something good is going on.
RNS of 11th August 2021, first patient dosed in AVA6000 trial,
"If the study shows that the pre|CISIONTM technology is effective in reducing systemic toxicity of Doxorubicin in humans, then that would open up an extensive and proprietary pipeline for Avacta of next-generation pre|CISIONTM pro-drug chemotherapies with significant clinical and commercial advantages in a chemotherapy market that is expected to exceed $74 billion by 2027."
so yes, i think they have the bigger picture on their radar.
Thanks BV
the more we know the better it looks. those in the know probably have more insight and trust in the platform than perhaps the majority of "the herd" so it looks like its only a matter of time for the pennies to start dropping and facilitate a large increase in share price
If it weren't for those 81% of fvck ups we'd all be slightly poorer! anyways, this looks like fantastic news for long term holds and cancer sufferers. feels like a groundbreaking moment in history here. GLA
10 - 15% profit and repeat the process on other shares is quicker than waiting long term for a big scoop. you can make more money quicker by trading regularly than one long term investment. just depends how patient / impatient you are.
1b and part 2 of the trials taking place at "the sites" (America) which i think are also mentioned in the 1hr Investor meet company video / podcast,
https://youtu.be/sdBAEA5ovzU
where he explains that the pathway to approval of the drug is not necessarily through the FDA route, but seeking the quickest / most effective route to market... so i think we could see details of this pathway soon.
