Actually lamotta make a good point. The reason share price fell from 3 pounds is because the krg stopped paying and we couldn't extract anymore dividends. Just because blackrock have made back their money on the initial investment doesn't mean they wouldn't sell at 3 pounds if they thought that's what it's worth. They are still in the game of making money after all.
Considering that this pipeline will open and GKP is never going out of business because of ZERO DEBT and the KRG have been bad at paying but in the end they ALWAYS PAID. Even if GKP isn't getting the exact same price as before it's still ridiculously UNDERVALUED. I also believe that the wait will be worth it because the new deal between Erbril and Baghdad will avoid any ambiguity on whether it is constitutional or not. And I believe once the pipeline is open both sides will want to make sure that this will never happen again or at least not for a very long time, bringing Turkey into it backfired a bit for Iraq.
Yes really, telling half lies by mixing in truth with your poison. You go overboard and over complicate things with percentages and trivial facts whilst having a negative slant towards the company based on how you feel. I know the insidious way you slimy turds operate, makes me want to vomit.
Perhaps.but divide and conquer might not work if the oil companies are run by men who.have integrity and worked themselves into those positions and if they are not.naive enough to fall for such strategies. I think the CEOs of all the oil companies know what the KRG are like and should not let those corrupt tactics get the better of them.
They deliberately dropped the share price knowing that the news about DANA and the positive rns where coming out. This world is full of snakes not just in the middle East. Got to be a warrior in a world full of evil
No they should keep increasing the dividend increment ally as they have been doing. Rusty even said the share price can never get to a point where their yield is same as or near the big oil/gas companies. The market wouldn't have it. So to get the share price up just keep expanding and paying out the dividends. Low gas prices are good as dgic is leveraged and they can buy up assets on the cheap. These gas Wells are long life and gas isn't going anywhere. It's an integral part of the process in making fertiliser which we need or we don't eat.
Swell
So are the other oil companies in Iraq outside of kurdistan under the control of SOMO? If so then isn't that a good thing. Only 4 oil companies operate in kurdistan and from what I know 2 of them are solely in kurdistan, us and genel. If big oil companies like ExxonMobil can go into kurdistan now would it not make a takeover more likely?
Also what happens to the control of fdp approval? Is that still with the krg?
This whole trucking thing. Obviously won't be good for future relationship with krg if they start trucking oil south. The krg get paid from oil that goes into that pipeline, even before when we had trucking they were only taking the oil from the production facilities to the main pipeline. Now its pipe from production facilities to main pipeline. That's the only difference.
So this stock is undervalued because of the risk involved.
-The dispute in the oil and gas law is now being downplayed by the Iraqis which puts the KEGbin a strong position and seems like progress.
-The KRG have paid off all money owed and their payments have been up to date for a while now with no problems (Oil still high too)
-Relatively speaking this part of the world is going through a calm period compared to what's going on in Ukraine and Taiwan.
