(Changes slug, adds production capacity)
OSLO, Dec 3 (Reuters) - A fire led to an evacuation of staff
at the Kaarstoe gas processing plant on Norway's west coast,
North Sea infrastructure operator Gassco said on Tuesday.
"The fire is now extinguished. Production is unaffected," a
Gassco spokeswoman told Reuters.
Kaarstoe is a major Norwegian processing plant exporting gas
to Britain and other European countries. It has a production
capacity of 88 million cubic metres per day.
