UK TRADING UPDATE SUMMARY: Mereo To Delist From AIM Amid Nasdaq Focus

Mereo Biopharma Group PLC - biopharmaceutical focused on oncology and rare diseases - Intends to cancel AIM listing with effect December 18. Will retain Nasdaq listing for American depositary shares. "By reference to the volume of underlying ordinary shares, approximately 79% of trading in the past six months has taken place on Nasdaq," Mereo says. Adds that AIM delisting will boost liquidity of ADS trading.

PureTech Health PLC - biotherapeutics company - Says founded entity Vor Biopharma reports exclusive licensing agreement with National Cancer Institute and National Institutes of Health related to clinical-stage anti-CD33, a T-cell therapy candidate.

NetScientific PLC - life sciences and technology investment and commercialisation company - Says investee PDS Biotechnology Corp and partner Farmacore Biotechnology jointly prioritise advancing PDS0203 Covid-19 prevention treatment to human clinical trials. "DS0203 may present strong potential to provide the breadth and level of immune responses necessary for a safe and effective vaccine with long-term protection against Covid-19," says Greg Conn, chief scientific officer of PDS Biotechnology.

Tiziana Life Sciences PLC - biotechnology company - To work with Parexel Biotech on phase 1b/2 clinical trial of Foralumab in patients with Crohn's disease.

Oncimmune Holdings PLC - Nottingham-based immunodiagnostics company - Signs agreement with Augmenta Bioworks Inc to provide profile patient plasma samples. Will also characterise therapeutic candidates discovered from Augmenta's SingleCyte and DeepGrid platforms.

Remote Monitored Systems PLC - data collection and surveying firm based in London - Says news of Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine does not lessen demand for investee Pharm2Farm's viricidal mask product. "Pharm 2 Farm is focusing on bringing its mask to market as soon as possible," Remote says.

IQE PLC - semiconductor wafer products manufacturer - Announces successful deployment of IQepiMo technology for use in RF filters and any application needed low resistance buried electrodes. "Low resistance contacts are essential for the efficient operation of almost all electronic circuits. As dimensions shrink, the limitations of existing technologies are exposed, resulting in compromised device performance. This is especially true of RF Filters, which are electronic components that allow or prevent the transmission of selected signals or frequencies," IQE says.

Ilika PLC - Romsey, England-based solid-state battery technology developer - Says trading in first half ended October 31 in line with expectations. Says despite restrictions, revenue recognition in half comes in at GBP1.3 million, down from GBP1.5 million a year earlier. Loss before interest, tax depreciation and amortisation unchanged at GBP1.0 million.

Bushveld Minerals Ltd - South Africa focused-vanadium producer - Says it has received environmental authorisation in South Africa for hybrid mini-grid at Vametco vanadium project. Appoints Abengoa to manage engineering, procurement and construction at site. Also adds memorandum of understanding signed with Thebe Investment Corp for developing funding.

Bluebird Merchant Ventures Ltd - Korea-focused gold firm - Says expert determination period for buy of Southern Gold's 50% stake in Gubong and Kochang gold mines extended to early part of December. "Prior to the conclusion of the acquisition process the company expects to provide further positive updates from South Korea this month," Bluebird says.

Central Asia Metals PLC - copper, zinc and lead explorer, operating in Kazakhstan and North Macedonia - Recommends six pence interim payout after initially deferring it amid tailings leak at Sasa facility. Says Sasa output now 100% back to normal and company has settled all environmental fines with North Macedonian authorities.

Jadestone Energy Inc - Asia Pacific-focused oil and gas company - Settles dispute with Teikoku Oil Co Ltd over block 05-1 PSC, offshore Vietnam. Back in 2016, companies agreed deal for Teikoku to sell 30% interest in asset but in 2018, sellers backed out of deal. Jadestone at time said it "did not accept the termination". Jadestone says: "The company and Teikoku have agreed a full and final settlement in respect of the dispute. When considering the amount payable under the settlement, together with fees payable by the company, Jadestone will not experience a significant increase in its cash position."

Zenith Energy Ltd - oil & gas production company with operations in Italy, Tunisia and the Republic of the Congo - Updates on legal claim in Republic of Congo initiated by its Anglo African Oil & Gas Congo SAU subsidiary. Says USD36,000 of funding made available to subsidiary Anglo African Oil & Gas Congo. "The company can confirm that it has recently been successful in obtaining a revocation of the court order that had wrongfully blocked its bank accounts," Zenith says. "Zenith believes the claim launched by AAOG Congo has merit, especially on account of the significant evidence collected at the time to substantiate its position."

Curzon Energy PLC - investor in US based natural gas projects - Requests for its shares to be suspended temporarily. Says period of exclusivity for Sun Seven Stars Investment Group deal has expired but still in discussions for potential extension. "While the parties continue to work constructively towards a potential transaction, there can be no certainty around the length of time required to reach definitive agreement or the likelihood of concluding a potential transaction, that would remain subject to due diligence, agreement on terms, and completion of the acquisition and re-listing of the enlarged group on the Official List," Curzon says.

Kazera Global PLC - Cardiff-headquartered AIM quoted investment company - Reports maiden shipment of diamond bearing gravel to auction. Says 4,000 tonnes of gravel produced, of this 2,000 tonnes processed by final recovery plant and due to be sold in auction this month. "The actual carat value is likely to be low (around 50 carats), but this is to be expected as the focus was on quantity of gravel produced, rather than the carat content of the gravel," Kazera says.

City Of London Group PLC - investment company - Says recognise unit receives banking licence from UK Financial Conduct Authority. "The banking licence from the PRA / FCA represents a major step in addressing the service gap for SMEs, particularly after the negative impacts of Covid-19. Recognise is well advanced in its readiness to meet mobilisation conditions that will lead to the removal of the deposit restriction. It currently expects this could be as early as the end of Q1 2021," City of London says.

KKV Secured Loan Fund Ltd - equipment leasing and asset finance investment - Says valuation of company portfolio still being finalised amid review by KPMG. "The review is ongoing with certain information still being collated and, as such, the company is not currently in a position to provide detailed guidance regarding collective or individual asset values, which remain subject to audit. However, the company is starting to get an indication of the potential outcomes from this review," KKV says.

Real Estate Investors PLC - UK Midlands-focused real estate investment trust - Sells four properties for GBP9.7 million in total. Grocer Aldi buys a freehold supermarket site for GBP5.4 million and Real Estate says vacated offices in West Brom sold for GBP630,000. Company adds land located in Coseley, West Midlands sold for minimum of GBP1.2 million, with potential for additional GBP350,000, assuming buyer Countryside Properties PLC gets local authority grant application. Real Estate adds City Gate House, Leicester - sold for GBP2.6 million. Rental reduction from sales is GBP475,000 per annum.

7digital Group PLC - London-headquartered digital music and radio services platform - Joint-venture eMusic Live partners with HarrisonParrott, a classical music artist to launch Virtual Circle, a platform for online concerts for classical music listeners. "This is the first such partnership since the formation of the joint venture with eMusic and presents clear evidence of the growing demand for artist monetisation tools, a key growth market and new revenue stream for 7digital," 7digital says.
