----------

Vodafone Group PLC - Newbury, Berkshire-based telecommunications - David Thodey resigns as non-executive director and won't seek re-election at Tuesday's annual general meeting, "as his other commitments could be regarded as affecting his ability to make a full contribution to the board". ----------

Tekcapital PLC - London-based intellectual property investment group - Malcolm Groat steps down from board at Monday's AGM. Konrad Dabrowski promoted from financial controller to non-board chief financial officer.

----------

SIMEC Atlantis Energy Ltd - Edinburgh-based sustainable energy projects - Ian Wakelin resigns as non-executive director from October to become chair of Viridor Group, the waste firm whose sale by Pennon Group PLC to funds advised by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co LP was completed earlier this month.

Wood is an energy lawyer and senior consultant at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP. She also is a director of Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd. Persianis is managing director of Fiduserve Asset Management in Cyprus.

----------

Carr's Group PLC - Carlisle, Cumbria-based agriculture and engineering group - Hires Kristen Weldon as independent non-executive director, joining on October 1.
