UK EXECUTIVE CHANGE SUMMARY: Nutrition Firm Director Joins Tate & Lyle

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Tate & Lyle PLC - London-headquartered food and beverage ingredients firm - Hires John Cheung, currently an executive director at nutrition group China Feihe Ltd, as a non-executive director effective Friday. Cheung's experience includes being president for Wyeth Nutrition Global, Nestle SA's leader in China, and senior roles with both Coca-Cola Co and Procter & Gamble Co. Tate & Lyle further announces the upcoming departure of Non-Executive Director Ajai Puri, who will retire March 31 after close to nine years on the board.

Flutter Entertainment PLC - Dublin, Ireland-based bookmaker - Non-Executive Director Ian Dyson steps down effective Thursday. Chair Gary McGann thanks the outgoing director "for his outstanding contribution to the board over the past 10 years."

Robert Walters PLC - London-based recruitment firm - Ron Mobed, who joined the company board as chair designate on December, is to formally succeed Carol Hui as non-executive chair on Friday this week. Hui will depart the board after a nine-year tenure effective Thursday.

Vectura Group PLC - Chippenham, Wiltshire-based inhaled drug delivery solutions firm - Appoints Jeanne Hecht, most recently chief executive of pre-clinical and clinical ophthalmic drug and device development firm Ora Inc, and Jeanne Thoma as independent non-executive directors effective Thursday. Thoma was most recently CEO & president of SPI Pharma, a specialist formulation and ingredient services business.

Samuel Heath & Sons PLC - shower and bathroom accessory manufacturer - Managing Director David Pick retires effective Thursday, as announced February 2020. He is succeeded by Martyn Whieldon, currently deputy managing director at Samuel Heath & Sons.

Oxford BioDynamics PLC - biotechnology firm focused on discovery and development of epigenetic biomarkers - Christian Millar, an executive director, is to retire from the board on Thursday. Millar, formerly chief executive of Oxford BioDynamics before bringing in Jon Burrows as successor earlier in 2020, co-founded the company in 2008 alongside Alexandre Akoulitchev and Aroul Ramadass.

AIQ Ltd - focused on acquiring and developing e-commerce sector businesses - Hires Li Chun Chung as an executive director with immediate effect. The new director "has over 20 years' experience in assisting companies with their strategic growth." Additionally, AIQ Non-Executive Director Soon Beng Gee and Executive Director Lee Chong Liang resign with immediate effect.

Borders & Southern Petroleum PLC - London-based independent oil & gas exploration company with assets offshore the Falkland Islands - Effective Friday, Non-executive Director Nigel Hurst-Brown retires from the board. At the same time, Borders & Southern hires William Hodson as non-executive director. Hodson has "a long standing background in corporate finance and capital markets, with significant experience in the resource sector." Also appoints Auctus Advisors LLP and Strand Hanson Ltd to act as joint brokers.

DWF Group PLC - Manchester-based law firm - Independent Non-Executive Director Vinodka Murria resigns with immediate effect in order to "pursue new business opportunities in the technology arena" and also steps down as a member of the firm's audit, risk, remuneration and nomination committees. The search for her successor has begun.
