(Alliance News) - Thor Mining PLC said Tuesday it added Metal Tiger PLC Chief Investment Officer Mark Potter as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Metal Tiger holds a 12% stake in Thor, and Executive Chair Mick Billing said he was "delighted to be able to further strengthen our ties with Metal Tiger."
Potter "has an outstanding background in commercial aspects of the resources industry, and we are very pleased to add his strengths to our team," Billing said.
As well as his role at Metal Tiger, Potter is the founder and partner at mining advisory firm Sita Capital Partners LLP, having previously been the investment chief at Anglo Pacific Group PLC.
Shares in Thor were 3.7% lower at 0.60 pence in London on Tuesday, Metal Tiger 1.2% higher at 1.21 pence.
