Staffline Non-Executive Chair Lewis And Director Ward Step Down

Fri, 24th Apr 2020 17:27

(Alliance News) - Staffline Group PLC said Non-Executive Chair Tracy Lewis and Non-Executive Director Dawn Ward have resigned on Thursday and Friday, respectively.

The recruitment and training company said it is at an advanced stage in the process of appointing a new chair.

Lewis stepped up in September 2019 from non-executive director to the position of non-executive chair to help Staffline through "these difficult circumstances", drawing on her experience as a former CEO of a multinational business.

At the end of February, the company said it continues to experience a highly competitive environment.

"I would like to thank Tracy and Dawn for their contribution to the company," said Non-Executive Director Richard Thomson.

"We wish them both well for the future and look forward to announcing the appointment of a new chair very shortly," added Thomson.

Staffline shares closed 1.4% higher in London on Friday at 28.89 pence each.
