SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: Hyve upbeat; Keller wins Saudi contract

Mon, 27th Jun 2022 10:50

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Monday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

Hyve Group PLC, up 6.9% at 72.70 pence, 12-month range 43.86-145.96p. The events organiser says post-pandemic recovery of in-person events has "considerably ahead of anticipated levels". Hyve says the momentum seen in the first half of its financial year had continued into the third-quarter, ending June 24. Forward bookings for all of financial 2022 total GBP122.3 million, which excludes August events in China due to Covid restrictions and all events in Ukraine due to the war.

----------

Keller Group PLC, up 2.4% at 717.00p, 12-month range 670.00p-1,043.60p. The geotechnical contractor has been selected to undertake work on a "prestigious" project in Saudi Arabia and saw "strong" trading in the first half of the year. Keller says trading was as anticipated in the first half of the year. The board also will consider an increase to the final dividend in 2022, as part of its return to a progressive dividend policy, as well as review other options for capital returns. Looking ahead, Keller expects 2022 to be a year of growth, and full-year performance will have its customary second half weighting.

----------

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

----------

Digital 9 Infrastructure PLC, down 1.6% at 111.58p, 12-month range 103.80p-119.00p. The digital infrastructure assets investor agrees to buy a 48% stake in Arqiva Ltd for GBP459.3 million. Digital 9 says it is launching a proposed placing and offer for subscription at a price of at least 110.00p per share. This represents a discount of 3.0% to Friday's closing price. Digital 9 says the money will be used to partly fund the Arqiva acquisition, and also to invest further capital into its subsea fibre, Nordic data centre and edge data centre platforms.
