Shell Nigeria declares force majeure on Bonny Light oil - statement

LAGOS, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Shell Petroleum DevelopmentCompany of Nigeria declared force majeure on exports of BonnyLight crude oil, it said in a statement sent to Reuters onTuesday.

The declaration, officially made on Sept. 13, followed theclosure and force majeure on the Nembe Creek Trunk Line (NCTL)by operator Aiteo last week.(Reporting By Libby George, Editing by Franklin Paul)
