Seeing Machines Makes Interim Chair Kate Hill's Position Permanent

Mon, 22nd Jul 2019 10:50

(Alliance News) - Computer vision firm Seeing Machines Ltd has made interim Chair Kate Hill's position permanent, it announced Monday.

Hill has been interim chair since June 5, following the stepping down of Jack Boyer. Boyer left due to other work commitments taking up too much of his time for him to fully commit to Seeing Machines.

Hill said: "Jack has been a valued member of the Seeing Machines board and we thank him for his energy and direction in his position as chair, where he oversaw a restructuring of the board and management to position the company for future growth.

"On a personal note, I enjoyed working with Jack, thank him for his counsel and support, and wish him well in his future endeavours."

"I am delighted to be taking on the role of chair at Seeing Machines on a permanent basis," she continued.

"I am very excited about our future here and look forward to working closely with Paul McGlone and the management team to leverage the tremendous opportunities across our transport sectors as driver monitoring technology continues to influence the safety agenda globally."

Shares were 1.3% higher on Monday morning at 3.52 pence each.
