(Alliance News) - Isle of Man-based investment firm Origo Partners PLC on Friday said it has sold its entire stake in Gobi Coal & Energy Ltd for USD275,437, matching the investee's most recently reported carrying value.
Origo shares were trading up 21% at 0.19 pence each in London on Friday morning.
Origo had first acquired an interest in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia-based Gobi Coal in 2009.
Origo will provide a general asset update in its annual report which will be released later in June.
