LONDON (Alliance News) - Domain registry company Minds + Machines Group Ltd on Monday said the .vip top-level domain experienced a successful start.
Minds + Machines said .vip reached 203,720 registrations from launch on May 17 to May 22, putting in the top 20 top-level domains within five days of launch. The company said 80% of the registrations so far have been from China.
The combined total in billings and orders for .vip was USD3.2 million over the period, Minds + Machines said.
Minds + Machines shares were up 5.1% to 9.98 pence Monday.
