London & St Lawrence underperforms

London & St Lawrence Investment Company has underperformed the FTSE All-Share index in the three months to November 2010. The investment trust's net asset value increased 4.9% to 274p a share during the period, but the index was 6.1% higher. London & St Lawrence also underperformed in the year to August 2010. Its net asset value rose 3.5% but that was 50% of the increase for the index. London & St Lawrence invests in a portfolio of other investment trusts.
