EUROPE IN THE RED (0528 GMT)
European stock futures are in negative territory after
hitting fresh all-time highs on Friday as unexpected weak
China’s data suggests taking some profit off the table.
While in Europe, high vaccination rates support expectations
of a solid economic recovery, Asia looks more vulnerable to the
adverse impact of the Delta variant.
As of now markets seem to ignore the geopolitical earthquake
that the Taliban taking control of the presidential palace in
Kabul might trigger in the medium term.
