Judge has reserved judgement until a full consideration of relevant evidence and arguments made by the council and company as well as the claimant Sarah Finch, who is representing Weald Action Group.
"We remain confident that the case put forward by SCC, the Company and MHCLG demonstrates the claimant's case has no merit in law and that the court will uphold SCC's decision," said Chief Executive Stephen Sanderson.
