IN BRIEF: Seeing Machines to supply technology to Shell, shares rise

Seeing Machines Ltd - Canberra-based driver-monitoring technology company - Signs pact with Shell Global Solutions International BV to provider its driver distraction and fatigue technology, Guardian. Royal Dutch Shell PLC plans to deploy Guardian in areas where fatigue and distracted driving are considered to be a safety risk. Given the scale of Shell's global footprint - with more than 80,000 employees in over 60 countries - Guardian is set to be deployed this year but could take "several years" to fully implement.

Current stock price: 9.95 pence, up 8.7% on Monday

Year-to-date change: up 44%
