Omega Diagnostics Group PLC - Alva, Scotland-based medical diagnostics company - Notes the UK Health Security Agency's medical devices regulations, which were implemented on Monday. The new regulations require all suppliers of Covid-19 tests to submit information for desktop review prior to the end of October if they want their products to remain on sale in the UK after this date. Omega says it has submitted all documentation ahead of the deadlines and paid the necessary fee, but its Visitect professional-use Covid-19 antigen test has yet to be approved.
